Frequently Asked Questions
Format, Validate, and Transform JSON Data
How JSONFlow Works
Everything you need to know about payload limits, data handling, and API integration.
Is my data stored?
No. JSONFlow processes all payloads in-memory and returns the transformed response immediately. We do not log, cache, or persist your JSON data on our servers. All requests are encrypted via TLS 1.3, and temporary session buffers are wiped after a 30-second TTL.
What is the max payload size?
Free tier requests are capped at 256KB per payload. Pro and Enterprise plans support up to 15MB uncompressed JSON. If you exceed the limit, the API returns a 413 Payload Too Large error with a detailed breakdown of the token count that triggered the threshold.
Does JSONFlow support custom schemas?
Yes. You can upload JSON Schema Draft 2020-12 files directly in the dashboard or pass them via the X-JF-Schema header in API calls. Our validator will flag type mismatches, missing required fields, and constraint violations before transformation occurs.
Plans, Payments, and Invoices
Transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Manage your subscription directly from your account dashboard.
How to cancel subscription?
Navigate to Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription and click Cancel Plan. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. No cancellation fees apply, and you will receive a prorated credit if you downgrade mid-cycle.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and wire transfers for Enterprise annual contracts. All transactions are processed securely through Stripe, and invoices are automatically emailed to your registered billing contact.
Do you offer team discounts?
Yes. Teams of 5 or more developers receive a 20% volume discount on per-seat licensing. Contact our sales team at sales@jsonflow.dev to configure SSO, shared API keys, and centralized billing reports.
Still Need Help?
Our engineering team is available to troubleshoot API errors, optimize transformation pipelines, or assist with enterprise onboarding.
Live Chat & Email Support
Pro and Enterprise users get priority access to our live engineering chat with an average response time of under 4 minutes. Free tier users can submit tickets via our support portal, and we guarantee a reply within 24 business hours.
API Rate Limits & Debugging
Standard rate limits are 1,000 requests per minute for Pro accounts and 5,000 for Enterprise. If you encounter 429 Too Many Requests errors, check the Retry-After header in the response or enable our exponential backoff middleware.
